School never seems to end, I am done and pretty much checked out by the first part of June. I might have sent Avrie to school the last 2 weeks with nothing new done in her homework journal, she insisted that it needed to go back to school anyway, and we did really good the rest of the year. But school finally did end on June 17. Then it rained for 2 days and we had to come up with fun things to do in the house like clean out dresser drawers and scrub toilets.
The girls had a great school year, Destina had the perfect teacher for her, she was so caring and helpful making the year fun and enjoyable for Destina and working with her challenges. Two of my other kids also had the same teacher so we knew going in that she would be great!

elementary school, she has come a long way since her first day of
Kindergarten 4 1/2 years ago. Where did the time go?
Avrie had a good year too, it started out a little rocky but ended good. Avrie grew taller, and smarter in 1st grade, school was easy for her this year and she loves to read, write and do math problems. She spent the first day of summer break doing school work. She loves to play with her friends, on Friday she had 13 of them over to our house, luckily for me they were her imaginary friends, but they still made a mess.

I loved Avrie's teacher too, she was also Jayden's 1st grade teacher so I knew Avrie was in good hands. She is one of the sweetest teachers any of my kids have ever had and Avrie loved her.
Look out 2nd grade Avrie is ready and excited!
