On Monday we woke up and it was a little rainy but pretty soon the clouds disappeared and the girls rushed outside to see the rainbow.
We decided to go snorkeling since the weather cleared up. We loaded the kids and gear and made the 7 minute drive to Sharks Cove, when we got there and started walking to the snorkeling spot it started raining, a lot. We were hiding under the trees pretending that we were on Survivor and we wanted to be voted off so we could go sit in the car. We lost the vote, we stuck out the 15 minute rain shower and then the men and little girls went snorkeling.
Avrie's favorite part was seeing the school of fish swim by, she also didn't complain about her very own taxi service around the snorkeling area.
We picked up Kelsie and she wanted to take us to the other side of the island to one of her favorite hikes and beaches, Lanakila beach. Since the weather was still pretty iffy where we were at we decided to make the drive. After getting lost and getting lunch we decided that the hike was too much so we just opted for the beach for a few hours. The little girls pulled out the snorkeling gear and had so much fun playing in the water.
Destina wasn't feeling too good so she slept and this bird came right up to her and almost tasted her arm.
After the girls were tired of playing in the water they found a nice long vine and played tug-of-war.
The temp was a little cooler that day but we avoided most of the rain and had a beautiful view sitting on the beach!
