Vacation Continued....again

Thursday we headed up to Park City, Ryan wanted to go to the Olympic Park we rode the zip line and then went to lunch. Ryan headed back over to the park to do more adventures and we all went shopping. 

On Friday we went to Lagoon, it was a good day to go not too hot and not too crowded. Some of us left about six to do some birthday shopping, and then picked up the kids later that night. We drove back up to Logan and it was pretty late when we got there. 

Vacation Continued

On Wednesday my nephew was married and it was a beautiful sealing. His new wife is so sweet and they are such a cute couple together. My sister and I drove to Orem to meet with the director of the Haiti Health Initiative and talk about what I will be doing on the medical trip in October, yes I am going back to Haiti again! After talking to him and getting the supplies that I will be taking down we drove back to Ogden for the wedding reception. Again, we had a great evening taking to family that we don’t always get to see.

 

Vacation Continued

On Monday Ryan woke up early and went on a bike ride with my cousin. It wasn’t quite like the riding he is used to, it was a real 25 mile bike ride in the mountains where he had to pedal the whole time, not just riding his bike to the top of the mountain then riding down as fast as he can jumping and all the crazy stuff he does. He had fun and it was better than going to the parade with us.  The girls and I went with my sisters to the parade and street fair, then out to lunch. We headed back to our condo and went swimming, then over to my sister’s house for a BBQ. It was a relaxing, lazy kind of day. 

On Tuesday Ryan and I met our dear friends and went to the temple with them and then out to lunch. We met up with everyone else after that and went to the movie. Ryan and I did a little last minute shopping and then we headed to Cherry Hill Water Park for the evening. The kids all had fun hanging out together and I had fun chatting with my sisters. 

Our Vacation

We got home about 2 weeks ago from a great week in Utah. I love spending time with my family and having two kids in Utah makes the time there even better. Our first stop was in Logan to Katie’s house. Katie and Jeremy had been working really hard to finish the spare bedroom and to finish tiling their bathroom floor. Their house is so cute and just perfect for them, I can’t wait to see it all done. They are both working and staying really busy. It was fun to go to church with them, Ryan got up and bore his testimony in their sacrament meeting and it was such a big ward compared to our small one. 

After going to church we drove down to Ogden for our family reunion. It was so much fun to see cousins, aunts and get our big family together. My mom had 3 siblings and it was fun to see and visit with so many people. When I was little our family had a big reunion each year at the same park, when my grandparents generation died they stopped. We have had a few over the years but it was fun to have everyone together again. The few hours we had was not enough to talk to everyone.
