Molly 7-Months

Molly is now 7 months old, where is the time going? She is completely mobile and crawling everywhere and getting into everything. Her favorite toys are paper and her pink elephant. She can stand and is starting to get really good at balancing, she can even stand with only holding on with one hand. She just cut her two bottom teeth and is having a hard time sleeping at night when it is quiet and dark, she prefers sleeping in a loud bright gym. She still spends her evenings at the gym with McKenzie but instead of being in the front pack she is crawling around licking all the dirty mats. McKenzie caught her licking up the dog's water that she spilled on the floor. She still smiles and is starting to repeat sounds. She weights 17 lbs and is 27 inches long.

Heliotrope Ridge Trail

Well I think I have proven to myself that I will do fine on my 2 mile hike into the little village of Timo, Haiti. The last Saturday of September the girls and I made another trek up the mountain. Avrie was more brave this time, we had to cross several little streams of water and one fairly good sized one and she did it without much complaint. Tia proclaimed that hiking was fun and wants to go again.

Molly 6 Months

Well I am behind about 2 weeks on posting Molly's 6 month pictures, which were taken at 6 months.
She is now nick named "Molly the Monster" by her mother. She is a crazy girl, just like her mother, and probably like her dad too. She is crawling and exploring and has to see everything around her. She doesn't like to be cuddled and wants to be held so she can see everything around her. She is very attached to her mom, and if mom is in the room her eyes have to be on her at all times. If mom is not in the room she is a little nervous. She is making growling sounds and wants to put everything in her mouth. She loves baby food now and can down a package of baby food in no time. She is pulling herself up in the crib, but still falling over after a minute or two because she is not sure what to do. She has the biggest smile and big blue eyes.

I think she looks like a cabbage patch doll in this picture!
