Ryan update...

Ryan has made it through the dessert, he was super lucky to have mild weather throughout most of his 700 miles of hiking in the dessert. He arrived at the base of the Sierra Mountains last week, and then this week the Mojave dessert had record temperatures of 120. He is hiking in snow, it has been one of the wettest winters in a long time and he will be without cell service for a few weeks. He is having a great time and I love following along on his adventure, I am so glad he is following his dream!

I officially closed on my old house, it was like this constant reminder of what used to be, what could have been, and packed full of lots of fun family memories, but it was a great relief to finally have it done, closing that chapter completely.
I have come to love the house I am living in right now, I know it will probably just be temporary but it is so perfect for me and the girls right now.
Tia and I are getting ready to go to Haiti, it will be her first time back. I drove Marco to the airport today he is so excited to see his boys and then we will join him at the end of the month. My life is far from perfect, but I am really feeling settled, at peace and loving life. It has been one very long journey, hours of counseling, many tears, and lots of stress, but I feel that I have emerged out of the mud pit I was stuck in and I am now basking in the sunlight. I have spent a lot of time in self reflection and working on myself. I am comfortable with me. Marco and I are having a great time...I love this man!
